Women’s Fall Retreat 2018

Be Joyful in Hope

Women of any age are invited to join us at our 9th annual Women’s Fall Retreat at Glen House Resort on the scenic shores of the St. Lawrence River near Gananoque, Ontario. This year we are focusing on being joyful in hope – and hopeful in joyfulness!

Josephine Lombardi, a highly regarded speaker and scripture teacher from Toronto, will lead us through our keynote sessions using story, song, and reflection, helping us to focus on increasing Joy and Hope in our lives. Two breakout sessions, one of stretching exercises and one that is a spiritual development session, will help participants to stand up, and lift up their heads in hope and faithfulness to God’s mercy.  For Saturday evening entertainment this year we have engaged Fiddlehead Soup, a local trio in the Celtic mode,  that sings and plays fiddle.  The grounds of the resort, excellent meals, relaxing programs and most of all fellowship of women from all walks of life work together to restore, inspire and recreate all of us.

Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, we invite you to join us for a weekend of nourishment and healing for your soul, fun for your spirit and some rest and relaxation with old and new friends. Come and leave your cares and responsibilities behind for a few days and allow the Lord to refresh you. As you register for this event, you will be prayed for each day by members of the Prayer team. The Hospitality team is waiting eagerly to welcome you to the 2018 Women’s Fall Retreat.
